Failure is beautiful
A life which contains failures is beautiful and powerful. Man pursues a life of success, but God works through our failures. Those who have never experienced failure before, they are living a stressful and fearful life in order to keep their success. Failure sets us free from the pressure of success. Also failure is God's opportunity in our life.
Man does a lot through our success but God does more and deeper work through our failures. Success changes our external being but failure changes our internal being. So we need to allow ourselves to fail.
We often cannot see what God has done on the other side of the coin, because we are so focused on what we are doing. If we glimpse the other side of the coin, we are set free from the pressure of success and fear of failure.
Jesus is the Beginning and the End. He started, finished and has completed all on the Cross. But often we trust in what we have done and are doing rather than what he has already completed for us. If we really trust in him, we may be relaxed in the middle of failures and making mistakes.
Moses was turned down nine times although he went to see Pharaoh to deliver God's message and deliver his people. Moses, however, failed nine times; he went the tenth time and Pharaoh released them. But he changed his mind and pursued the Israelites. While Moses failed ten times, miracles were multiplied ten times. In the end, through these miracles, Moses himself became like God to Pharaoh as God had told him.
So the LORD said to Moses: "See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet." (Exodus 7:1)
If Pharaoh had released the Israelites the first time without Moses' failure, Moses wouldn't have had the experience of such authority and confidence to lead a multitude of dynamic people. Also the Passover would not have been set up as the Redemption picture of the Lamb of God.
Moses gained all this through his failures and succeeded all this through his failures. Jesus failed on the Cross because it was clearly failure in the sight of man, but he has completed all through his failure. Failure creates more room in my heart and in my life, but success removes or occupies room. We can get more through failures than success.
God told Moses to see Pharaoh although he had told him Pharaoh would not let the Israelites go. Moses' failure was guaranteed by God. If failure is guaranteed, we don't need to be afraid of failing. If Jesus really has finished and completed all on the Cross, our failure doesn't affect his completion at all, rather our failure demonstrates and decorates his completed work. So we may enjoy our journey of faith even in the middle of failures.
1. Re-Entry into Israel: It will be Quicker than Before
After 6 hours detention experience on 20th April 2015 in Tel-Aviv airport, I went to Israel again on 27th June. My friends were a bit worried about my entry into Israel. As soon as I handed in my passport, the officer recognised my detention history I think and told me to go to the detention room and I would go through quicker than before. As I entered the detention room, they already printed off the Israeli visa card and I entered with it. It was much quicker than before.
This trip was very different trip from before, it was restful and enjoyable. Also I have really experienced what Jesus has finished and paid on the Cross for us, because someone had already paid all our expenses and we only enjoyed by faith.
2. Grexit or Grentry? (Greece will exit or Greece will be entry?)
Greece is facing a national bankruptcy. Although a new government has been launched, it is very difficult to overcome because the corruption has been so deep. The European Central Bank is showing its reluctance to lend more money to Greece because of her hopeless debt.
American president Mr Obama is trying to persuade EU leaders to keep Greece in the EU because if they lose Greece, NATO will lose power, whereas Russia has been increasing her military power. However, Mr Obama is not willing to support Greece financially. Russia and China would like to support Greece financially. Russia has already offered finances if Greece pulls out from the EU, so that they may have a Naval base in the Mediterranean Sea. Also China has been waiting for the right time quietly to make an offer, so that they may have a Naval base in the Mediterranean Sea.
3. Failed World but Redeemed Bride
We are living in such a chaotic, disturbed world because of financial instability, religious conflict, military disturbance, immoral disruption, etc.. So although many people are living in hopelessness and in darkness aimlessly, we have hope, light, life and purpose in Him because he has already paid, finished and completed through the Cross.
Even though IS(Islamic State) has brought terrible darkness, the Kingdom of God has been advancing forcefully since John the Baptist. There is no kingdom, no king, no power, no religion and nothing which has been able to stand before Him and His Kingdom. And our Bridegroom's arrival is nearer than before, so we need to prepare ourselves with trembling joy as the Bride on the Wedding Day.
4. Journey with BCW (Bible College of Wales)
On 4th January 2009, our journey of faith started regarding the inheritance of Rees Howells. At the beginning, it was nonsense to me because I had no connections with the Bible College, but our God had a plan. (www.theforgewales.org.uk)
On 25th May 2015, BCW Derwen Fawr site was rededicated by Cornerstone Church, Singapore six and a half years after I started this journey.

I really thank God and the Cornerstone Church in Singapore that pursued, purchased and has invested a lot of prayers and finances until now. However, it is just the beginning of the great thing of God which has already been completed in heaven and is waiting for us to be released here on earth. (www.bcwales.org)
I am not involved at the Bible College directly but I am praying and standing with them, because it is the Kingdom's work and his purpose.
5. Interceding for Abdel Fattah el-Sisi Egyptian President / The Womb of Intercession for Israel
I have been carrying this prayer burden for El-Sisi for a couple of months. I sense that he is a very important person for the Middle East situation and Israel. He needs a lot of wisdom and courage to make decisions over the next few months. Also a couple of huge decisions are awaiting him. I sense Egypt is going to be a key nation for Israel and the Middle East as she has been before.
In Ezekiel 37, Israel, the dry bones, were restored as the army of God but there was no life until the wind of life blew. Egypt was the womb for Israel as a nation to grow and to be born physically. I sense that now Egypt should be the womb of intercession for Israelso that Israel may be born spiritually and fully for the nations of the world.

6. Celebration for the Nations
Gail Dixon received this vision in 2004; "If you sing, I will give you water!" I have been involved in this worship festival since 2006, standing with Gail. This year it is going to be held in Seoul, South Korea: 10th -15th August. I am going to Korea for it. Next year it will be in Mt Carmel in Israel: 31st July - 7th Aug 2016. www.celebrationforthenations.org
7. Three Weeks Korean Language Course
My wife Bridget is going to take a crash course in Korean language in Yeosei University in Seoul: 5th - 25th Aug. I have to look after our two sons for three weeks including during the Celebration time. So I need a lot of wisdom and patience but it will be fun. (Bridget needs prayer too; it's a long time since I was at school...)
8. Home-Schooling
We are planning to start home-schooling Noah, who is 8 years old, from this September. Bridget has had an interest in home-schooling for a while, and suddenly it seemed like the right step for us as a family and for The Forge. We want to take full responsibility for giving our sons the best spiritual, moral and intellectual surroundings to grow up in and to be equipped to take up their destiny in His Kingdom, in this world.

1 Pray for Longer-Term Visa: People would like to come to know God and themselves in order to prepare themselves to serve here and to go wherever God sends them. At the moment there is no way to invite people from outside the EU longer-term. Please pray for it. 2 Pray for Messianic Jewish young people into the Forge Fire: God is bringing a much bigger picture of this Forge vision. I cannot perceive right now but I can sense it. God has been preparing people as blacksmiths in the Forge for the next movement of God. God has been healing people physically, spiritually and emotionally and equipping people. Please pray that Messianic Jewish young people may be released into the Forge fire in Wales and beyond for the next movement of God. |

[ Unfinished Race with Rees Howells ] At that point Mathew told me that Jewish people need to come to 'The Forge' to be equipped as missionaries and should go out to the nations of the world again. I really felt and prayed that is what Rees Howells left and we need to pick up. The Jews who will come might be not only from the USA and Europe but also from Israel, etc. It is very interesting because we didn't plan to go there at all on that day and the Jewish connection reopened up in our prayers in that place where Rees Howells prayed and prepared. When I was in Israel in October 2012, God spoke to me again about Jewish missionary training in Wales. On 7th October, when I woke up at about 6 am, I felt God wanted me to go up to the Temple Mount. When I was in a queue and also on the Temple Mount, God spoke to me again about the Jewish missionary training. I came down to the Western Wall. As I touched the wall, he spoke to me again. So I told God, "I don't know what to do and how to do it although you are saying to me." Then he told me, "I have called you because you don't know and you cannot do it with your own ability." I wept! We went to Penllergaer this time during the Forge School on 22nd March 2014 and God impressed some of us strongly. This is the place where we need to create or bring down His story. It doesn't mean the physical land but spiritual ground where Rees Howells prayed and prepared for Jewish children. God doesn't want us to walk on the ruined places only but excavate to redeem and restore the longing of God. Still we don't know how to do it but we know that God wants to raise his army, Jews and Gentiles, in these last days for the harvest fields. God already has done it, is doing it, and is looking for someone who wants to do together with him. |

[ Place All on the Altar! ] On Sunday 31st March 2013, I went to Penllergaer to walk with God. While I was walking, I heard, "Go back to the beginning!" This voice was lingering nearly all day. A few days previously, I had got a phone call from a friend of mine in Swansea. He was organising an Easter Egg Hunt for children on Monday 1st April and he wanted me to bring over my son Noah and family to Swansea on BCW(Bible College of Wales) site. I reluctantly went and found that Derwen Fawr house was opened. Later on I called my younger son Yohan to come to the Blue Room with me because his conception and birth are deeply related to our journey of faith. I took a couple of photos of him in the room and I saw a card on the top of fire place. As soon as I looked at it, God spoke to me loudly and firmly. "Place All on the Altar!" On that card there were a few Bible scriptures and this hand writing. Only this sentence jumped out to me and convicted me. Later on I found that a lady sent this card last November from Penllergaer area. Isn't it interesting? One day I heard "Go back to the Beginning!" and the next day "Place All on the Altar!" In January 2009, our family started going to the BCW sites every Sunday according to God's conviction, that he wanted us to redeem and restore the SPIRITUAL INHERITANCE of Rees Howells. Then the BCW sites were closed down and the college moved to England in July 2009. From that point I felt that God wanted us to redeem and restore the PHYSICAL PROPERTIES too, as part of the inheritance. Thankfully one of these has now been purchased and is being restored by Cornerstone Community Church, Singapore. So "Go back to the beginning" might mean that this journey is to redeem and restore the spiritual inheritance of Rees Howells only. Although I still don't know a lot of things, what I know is that I have to place all on the altar and I have placed BCW sites on the altar. Of course it was so hard for me but obedience is better than sacrifice. It looks like my 4 years and 4 months intercessory journey with BCW sites has come to an end, although we are still pursuing Rees Howells spiritual inheritance and the picking up the baton of equipping Jews and Gentiles for the last harvest fields. But we are pursuing the redeeming of his spiritual inheritance through the Forge vision. |
